I developed Waye’s brand identity and visual language to resonate with the open-source community—striking a balance between approachability and authority.
Open-source developers are deeply independent, highly competent, and allergic to fluff. To reflect this, I built a brand system that pairs disarming, engaging illustrations with no-nonsense, self-assured copy, reinforcing clarity, competence, and trust.
The result is a brand that speaks directly to its audience, positioning Waye as both a trusted resource and an advocate for developer well-being.
