Freedom tech helps people stay in control of their data, money, and speech—especially where those freedoms are limited or under threat. Much of it is open source, built by independent developers around the world.
The Waye Foundation supports developers doing high-stakes, often invisible work by giving them tools to protect their focus, energy, and well-being.
Typical mental health messaging misses devs. They’re highly independent, razor-sharp, and allergic to fluff. Waye is built by devs, for devs. I created a visual system that feels grounded, clear, and a little irreverent. It pairs welcoming illustrations with no-BS copy that signals real care and competence.
For the 2025 Oslo Freedom Forum, a global meetup of changemakers and freedom-tech builders, we dialed up the attitude with custom stickers. Dev-coded and defiant, these were made for the ones who refuse to play nice with broken systems.
